The Royal Mint - Hayes Activation

We worked with The Royal Mint to execute an immersive, full-day event at The Hayes in Cardiff to promote their new coin launch. The challenge was to create an unmissable, high-impact activation that would generate buzz, drive footfall, and raise awareness for their new product celebrating the 90th anniversary of the classic board game, MONOPOLY. We supported The Royal Mint with full event management and activation, including securing the iconic location and implementing a high-profile stunt.

Our event featured costumed characters, a giant Monopoly hat on The Hayes, and an interactive element where staff handed out scratch cards loaded with prizes. This activation generated significant public attention and organic social media buzz, successfully promoting the launch of their limited edition UK MONOPOLY coin.

Delivered during half term at peak city-centre trading hours, the activation benefited from exceptionally high pedestrian footfall. We managed all council approvals, safety protocols and risk assessments end-to-end for a seamless public-facing execution.
