Today’s food for thought s all about creativity…​​​​​​​​

​​​​​​People often think being creative means bringing new products, services, and solutions to market. Take Dragon’s Den for example, most people who pitch to the Dragons bring new products that they claim will change the game within their industry, like fancy dog poo pickers💩 But, the Dragon’s often find pitfalls and come to the conclusion that they don’t need new expensive solutions for something like this- what’s wrong with a good old fashioned dog poop bag?!? If it isn’t broken- don’t fix it! ​​​​​​​​

​​​​​​​​So, when we think of creativity we think about how we can make the same product, service, and gadget appeal to more people by presenting it in new ways. ​​​​​​​​

​​​​​​​​Take @heyestrid and their swanky pastel razors as a prime example. 165k followers and a booming business doing nothing new on the product front! The newness comes in how they present and market the classic razor🙌🏼​​​​​​​​

​​​​​​​​In June 2018, Belgian supermarket Delhaize changed the names of their fruit and veg to encourage more kids to eat them. Carrots became Orange rockets. Courgettes became Troll Bats. Sales increased by 151%.​​​​​​​​

​​​​​​​​The proof is in the pudding, or should we say veggies🤔 Creativity is key🔑 ​​​​​​​​
